Following Shaw’s visit as Moderator to Malawi he was impressed with the dedication and commitment of the Boys Brigade there – boys, girls and officers. However, he found they have issues with uniform and are particularly keen to get hats. We have sourced a supplier in Africa who can produce for £2 per hat. Strathaven Boys Brigade as part of Strathaven Trinity Church would like to raise funds to buy as many hats as possible (and other Uniform if the need is greater). We would ask for people to sponsor 5 hats for £10 (or as many as you wish), to help the Boys Brigade members in Malawi. (Transfers can be made to the Boys Brigade account, or money given to one of the BB leaders if preferred)
